Meet Marley The Star of Marley & Me

BRING YOUR PET TO MEET THE STAR OF MARLEY AND ME
AT TAILS IN THE CITY!

Marley the dog, star of the upcoming film Marley & Me will be appearing at luxury pet boutique Tails in the City on Thursday December 18th from 2:00 to 3:00 pm.

Pet owners are invited to bring their pets to meet Marley during his visit to the Windy City!

Stop by Tails in the City to meet Marley and take your pet’s photo with a movie star. Pets will also receive a special gift from Marley while supplies last.

In 20th Century Fox’s Marley & Me, John and Jenny Grogan adopt the cute, twelve pound yellow Labrador Marley, who in no time at all, grows into a 100-pound steamroller of unbridled energy that turns the Grogan home into a disaster area. He flunks obedience school, chews off dry-wall, takes a bite out of the sofa, overturns garbage cans, steals a Thanksgiving turkey, consumes pillows and flowers, drinks toilet water, and chases the UPS guy. Even a newly-purchased, expensive necklace isn't safe from Marley's voracious antics.Amidst the mayhem he generates through the years, Marley sees the Grogans through the ups and downs of family life, through job and home changes, and most of all, through the myriad challenges of a growing family. As John and Jenny come to realize, Marley - "the world's worst dog" - somehow brings out the best in them.

Marley & Me opens in theatres on Christmas Day

Tails in the City 5th Annual Halloween Pet Parade

Almost 400 People Came Out For The 5th Annual Tails in the City Halloween Party and Parade! We Had Special Appearances This Year From Sarah Palin & Joe 6-Pack, Elvis, Coco Chanel, Dolly Parton, and even Hugh Hefner and The Girls Next Door!

A great time was had by all. We assembled in front of Tails in the City and enjoyed complimentary coffee from Starbucks. Next, we lined up and paraded down Delaware to Washington Square Park. Once we reached the park, we started the costume contest. All of the contestants did a great job with their costumes. The competition was fierce this year and our judges had a very difficult time picking the winners. Thank you again to our celebrity judges Bobbi Panter and Janet Lee.

During the event we enjoyed hot dogs, chips, and sodas from our friends at Downtown Dogs and bottled water provided by McGrath Lexus. After almost 2 hours of doggie fun in the sun, everyone left with a goodie bag full of delicious doggie treats as well as a copy of Modern Dog Magazine, a Martini Park gift card, a Formula Fitness Club guest membership, a McGrath Lexus keychain, and many more goodies!

Many People Helped Make Our Event A Huge Success. Thank You Again To All Of Our Judges, Sponsors and Prize Donors: Starbucks on Delaware, Downtown Dogs, McGrath Lexus, Bobbi Panter, Petote, Formula Fitness Clubs, Groomies on Elm, Martini Park, Kool Dog Kafe, Modern Dog Magazine, Wholesale Pet, Dr. Maria L. Gracias, and many more!

Thank You To Photographer Greg Szoda For Capturing So Many Great Photos During Our Party & Parade. Click HERE To See All Of The Photos From Our Halloween Party & Parade.
